Jason W. Burke has been working in the tax and financial services industry for more than 20 years. His expertise and dedication to providing exceptional customer care drives him to gain a deep understanding of each client’s short- and long-term goals so he can deliver quality service every day. He is a Board Certified Public Accountant by the State of California, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and belongs to the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

 

Jason’s experience in the accounting world began in college when he worked as an accounting clerk at his father’s wholesale distribution business. Soon after, his tax professor offered him a position at a sole proprietor firm, where Jason learned the requirements of a small business. At this one-stop shop, he quickly began working with various tax forms for city, county, state, and federal governments. He recalls this is when he realized a CPA is more than a tax advisor; they often are an individual’s most trusted advisor.

 

After working at his professor’s local firm, he moved to a larger firm in Ontario, CA. He spent six years strengthening his small business skills and learning more about medium-to-large business environments. As he worked alongside firm partners, he learned the differences between small and large corporations, as well as the differences in the sizes of CPA firms. Soon he was promoted to Tax Manager, becoming responsible for a specific group of clients and certain staff members at the firm.

 

After several years in management, Jason decided to open his own firm. He successfully opened JWB Tax and Financial Services in 2011, proudly serving clients throughout Southern California and other states. His passion to deliver quality service to every client drives him to provide the best customer service he can offer.
